This conversation is for senior leaders — ideally the CEO or a member of the C-suite. It’s your opportunity to share your business goals, aspirations, and the areas that aren’t working as well as they could. In our experience, development of this kind only succeeds when it stays firmly aligned with senior leadership. We may spend much of our time coaching managers or supporting teams, but unless the work connects back to the top, it risks becoming “just another training programme.” When we form a strong bond with the leadership, the impact we create is organisation-wide and the senior team and their business derive the greatest benefit.
